Luciano Kolodny, M.D.. was born and raised in PortoAlegre, Brazil. After graduation from the University of Miami School of Medicine, he returned for a post-doctoral fellowship, where he participated in multiple studies on platelet disorders in thrombotic conditions. He did his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago for 3 years. He then did a 2 year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and graduated from this program in June 2003.
During his time in Madison, he met and worked extensively with Dr. Wolfrom Nolten in matters pertaining to male endocrinology, including states of hypogonadism, Klinefelter Syndrome, male infertility, and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Kolodny is currently with the medical group, HealthPartners, located in the Twin Cities where he is practicing general Endocrinology and Andrology, with particular attention to patients with Klinefelter syndrome and their families.
